I originally made this as a reference for myself. admittedly, way too different speech bubbles and fonts can come across as gimmicky, and on the converse side, one of the fascinating aspects of comics is especially with mystery stuff, it can be genuinely surprising to find out the source of a mysterious voice and such, etc. but I guess if there are a lot of off panel dialogue (which is also gimmicky and annoying?? maybe it could be used as a way to avoid talking heads) or if a character is special, etc., the speech bubble differentiation sort of thing may have its benefits?? hmm.

who is the big spoon/little spoon Surprisingly, it’s Terning who’s the big spoon. I imagine Maxie’s extra arm makes spooning kind of difficult… Unless he tucks it inside his body cavity but that’s kind of unpleasant and not worth it.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity Smoking, whether it’s a hookah of sorts or some other water pipe kind of things. Terning would stop after a while since his eyes couldn’t take it.

who uses all the hot water in the morning Terning, he likes hot mineral baths.

what they order from take out Salt. Lots of salt. Also, orange soda.

what is the most trivial thing they fight over Terning keeps his rock samples in the worst places when he runs out of space, like Maxie’s closet. OH MY ODD.

who does most of the cleaning Terning, he tries to maintain some semblance of order around the house… and fails.

who leaves their stuff around Maxie’s kind of a slob, he leaves his clothes everywhere. Then again, with Terning putting his rocks in his closet, who could blame him.

who remembers to buy the milk Maxie, Terning isn’t one for liquids.

who remembers anniversaries Also Maxie, since he’s one of the few who has a linear calendar-like memory.
