Q:I honestly really love all your creatures and your simple but effective drawings of them. It would be cool, to see some digital paintings of them. I see you do them now and then and they always look so cool, I feel like it really inspires me to paint more! \o/
hee! painting is what I ought to do more of. x3 And I’m glad!
I feel like describing your dream is the hardest. I have some pretty vivid images in my mind from previous dreams but I cannot explain them.
Yeah, that’s frustrating! Especially if you know precisely how the dream felt, too, but that is impossible to convey with words. :I
Q:Trick or treat? :0
if you want candy, you’re gonna have to go through him.
malevolentmask replied to your post: well. coming up with monster designs is a hell lot…
Agreed! Its so hard to come up with an interesting human design. :/ Its like the only way to make interesting characters is by giving them odd or inhuman features. OTL
I generally just want to go with heavily stylized/simplified features ffffff
I don’t even know if a specific art style is required for that group
You have music in your dreams? Lucky, i’ve always had silent dreams except for a couple sounds every so often like fireworks, ect. XD
Sometimes, yes! I remember many years ago, after playing a lot of Jazz Jackrabbit that I had a dream of a pretty dark dungeon platformer thing that had pretty grim synthy music in it (sort of a mix of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver soundtrack and JJ’s Medivo theme) and aaaa I no longer remember what it even sounded like! It’s frustrating.
Another time was when there was some very trippy imagery of floating upside down right above water at night and highly orchestrated music and I think I actually contributed to how the melody would go.
On most part though, the music, if there’s any, is pretty forgettable.
i once had a dream that i WAS a song. i have rarely been so frustrated as when i woke up and couldn’t remember how i’d gone.
Okay THAT is pretty awesome, and also sad! Sure it’s one thing to write down descriptions of events in a dream but a whole another to recall things like sound or tunes, sigh. :c
Have you tried any other games with the emulator? if the other games don’t work just try a bunch of different emulators. I can’t remember which but I had trouble finding one that would work for DS games.
Well, I’ve been playing some other games with Project64 and they look fine. It’s just Yoshi’s Story that seems to give me trouble, bleh. (which is a shame since it’s a nostalgic game for me)
