Q:Hello there, Spoon. Quick question: do you rp or have any writings on your characters? If so I'm really seriously interested in either reading said writings or rp-ing with you because i am in serious love with your brain and its ability to conjure up such splendid character designs. I'm a huge gigantic fan of your oc's and im so very interested in learning more about them and their personalities. If you are ever interested, just send me a message! :)
Well, I haven’t written much about them, I suppose I sometimes make some worldbuilding related posts but that’s pretty rare… Especially since I have plans for making some comics and I don’t want to spoil too much, or end up spoiling a lot or idek. It’s hard, maaaan. (also I have like way too many ideas for way too many things and everything turns out half-baked. though my bird people universe seems most developed at the moment and with the clearest scope about what I want to do with it!)
I haven’t RPed much in a looong time, I used to do drawn RPs quite a bit on MSN, Tegaki and Tegaki Messenger (trying to pick up Tegaki Messenger again maybe.)

(Just kidding, she makes a fine old lady. As old as the universe. With thunder powers. Yikes. I think I’m most concerned about her legs, maybe arthritis bent her stumpy legs so much that it appears as though she has feet? *shudder*)
therapsid replied to your post: somehow I imagine it’s common for raven women to…
now I’m wondering what sort of social privileges and stigmas crows and other “species” have. I think I’ve been on tumblr too long, haha
I imagine crows and other corvids are mostly the middle class and upper middle class, while ravens are very upper class. Most other bird people are kind of scattered across society structures, some have it better thanks to connections, others face prejudice to varying degrees. For instance, there are a lot of corvid-owned places that ban certain kinds of birds from entering (like pigeons) and raptors in particular face heavy prejudice even if they keep themselves in check and act less predatory than in a non-city environment.
wow I am tired and can’t brain properly. basically wow I’m not painting a very pretty picture of my corvid people, am I. It just kinda happened to organize itself that way in my head, it’s interesting. BASICALLY, CROW CITY (also they have a great waste management system.)
somehow I imagine it’s common for raven women to have beards and they rarely shave them because being confused for a crow would be the worst insult one could get (yeah ravens are higher in the hierarchy than crows). So unless you have a particularly unmistakably aquiline nose or impressive stature, you’d be better off having a beard. (Morgan’s kinda special, tho. she’s probably one of the tallest raven people that exist.)
also I imagine some crow women wear fake beards to pretend to be ravens.
blah blah worldbuilding idek
Every time I see one of those posts about English television being universally incredible, I want to remind everyone that Mr. Blobby was a thing that happened.
NK is my personal Mr. Blobby. (or Grim Reaper. They’re one and the same, really)
You rang?
that’s it, I’m dead. (aka clash of the inside jokes)

I’m yet to figure out a last name for Bobbi. also, Very. Looks so eerily not-human.
